He sacked many workers in the state saying that they had falsified their age in the document they presented at the screening by the State government. He had not promoted civil servants in the state since he came to office in 2011. As if that was not enough reduced the running cost of civil servant and failed to pay leave bonus to civil servants since last year.

The relationship between the Governor and workers in the state became more severe when he felt that the civil servants were not going to support him in the second term bid.
