The emergence of All Progressive Alliance party (APC) comprising ACN, factional APGA, new PDP, CPC and ANPP was a feat in the political history of Nigeria

With the concoction of these seemingly independent independent bodies, a party was born with many independent leaders who merge powers to oust the incumbent party, it was a commendable effort that yielded a result barely expected to come to fruition

APC was so focused on removing the PDP led government that they failed to muster enough faith to believe in its ability to actually upturn the table
All the party wanted was to boot out PDP without making comprehensive plan for governance in the event of a win for the party.

Watching the recent events since the inauguration of the new President, it cannot be said that APC is a party but anyone would be right if its described as a conglomerate of power hungry individuals who would do anything to seize power despite not planning to use it wisely.

I dare say, all politicians in this country are driven by ambitions instead of principles and plans that will benefit the people.
APC has successfully put up a show of shame fighting over coveted posts in the NASS as a result of inadequate planning

The party leadership should stand still, backtrack and locate where the error was and brainstorm to profer lasting solutions if it does not want to go down in history as the worst single term tenure in Nigeria
The leadership of the party failed in its responsibilities before now but wants to cover its shame by playing the dictatorial game. It failed to realize that its composition is not that of newbies but political juggernauts who are power hungry and selfish.

No appointments have been made three weeks after inauguration and some senseless party leaders are labelling some politicians as ambitious and disloyal, what a time to discover that!

The hopes of the electorate was raised so high that they were expecting every mess left by PDP to automatically fix itself immediately the new President was sworn in, presently, these hopes are gradually being dashed and the terror of PDP in APC clothing is becoming more real as the days go by.
The party has a lot to prove to Nigerians quickly to justify their unflinching support for this great party.
The leadership should wake up to its responsibility of raising leaders instead of exporting them, assisting the Presidency in making policies that can be adopted

God bless Nigeria, God bless APC, God bless PMB

When we were shouting that the APC is programmed to fail you guys called us "haters". I will continue to say this (without any apology) that APC is a consortium of propagandists, criminals and undemocratic element with sole objective of grabbing power using any means necessary. APC is power is four years of endurance. May God Help Nigerians to endure till 2019.

This piece is not meant to yab APC which is my party but to hold our leader culpable for their actions or inactions as against the status quo where accountability is thrown to the winds.
APC is not a trash or April fool as you see it.

The formation that created APC does not include the new PDP members who join the party. Thus, the current crisis erupting the party is cause by PDP elements who came as a distraction to the long awaiting change Nigerians have always desire. Check out the people causing problem in the party, you will understand. The crisis will only seperate the real APC members from the fake once which at the end will make the party stronger.

The new PDP brought in d real momentum for the power change in government at d centre.sadly they were motivated by hate. They put politics before people and principles.in truth d APC have failed blatantly. No leadership anywhere.PMB is complicit in all these by deliberately undermining d people dat slaved to enthrone is inordinate ambition by his conspiracy of so called silence and non interference.dat guy is a Fulani politician.he knows and welcomes everything dat is going on today in d NASS.d real losers will b d millions of Nigerians that were scammed by d fake change mantra.PMB was just seeking power like a vampire thirsting for blood.he sounds most intelligent when he is not speaking.d man has nothing seemingly to offer.meanyle nigerians await d N5000 stipend,d millions of jobs yearly, free meals for primary school kids,d crushing of BH insurgency and while we wait,PMB should respectfully declare his true assets and stop thinking he could fool us all.

We should stop laying blames at the wrong doorsteps
Our leaders goofed simple!
Cuz these same elements you are talking about got votes for APC to win the Presidential elections, why were they not rejected before the elections?
APC was too much in a hurry to grab power but too lazy to prepare on how to use the power

It is politically naive to rush to judgement the way you are. Any party that has never being in govt before and suddenly having power is bound to make mistakes, but it does not mean it cannot overcome an initial fumble and get it right. That APC is going through this situation very, very early in the day may even turn out to be a blessing in disguse.
What the party needs is for general buhari to overcome his political naivety and misguideness and seize political leadership of the party.

What is your point?
Where APC went wrong was allowing treacherous fellows like Saraki and Dogara to have their way.
There is no total independence of the legislature anywhere in the world once it comes to electing leaders in a party democracy. As long as u are not elected as an independent candidate, you must obey the party that produced you and under which u won elections, its as simple and sacrosanct as that.
What APC did in the leadership by organising a straw poll, that Saraki knew he would lose in and then boycotted, was d same concept the traitor Saraki used in asking caucases to chose amongst themselves in an informal poll, that he now accepts because it favors his power agenda.
APC has been conducting its biz, from the president to the party executives, the way it should.
The challenge APC now faces is how to deal decisively witch those hellbent on taking us back to a past we have totally rejected and which we must fight tooth and nail never to see again.

We need to stop being sentimental and bring reality into fore if we want to make headway.
APC followers have allowed their hatred for PDP becloud their senses of judgement so much that they are failing to see the shortcomings of our party leaders

At the point of mergence, was there any form of agreement among the elements that made up APC? Agreements like, 'if we win, so so post goes to so so zone etc', if there had been a comprehensive brainstorm before now, all these shameful displays would be avoided.
Also, the party lacks an overall leader or bench of leaders who are saddled with the delicate responsibility of running the day to day activities of the party and making far reaching decisions for the party.

with every passing day, the reality of our unpreparedness is becoming more obvious to all.
instead of our political party leaders to adopt a stand for economic re-engineering and political stability of our dear country, they are busy witch hunting and settling outstanding scores.

God bless Nigeria
God help PMB
