The machiavelli of our time.

One calculated action for one day. Another calculated action for another day.

How can Tinubu appoint the vice president, senate president, deputy senate president, House of Rep's speaker, HOR deputy speaker and the national presiding officers? In a country of more than 100 ethnic groups, one man would want to appoint all elective posts.

I can authoritatively deduce from the recent happenings in the APC, Buhari is 100percent aware and tacitly supporting this moves. No one man can lord of Nigeria. Saraki is actually doing some people Bidding somewhere, some place. The plan is to decimate Tinubu.

Where is Lai Mohammed? The same man that came out on TV to say that Buhari is not APC leader. Lai Mohammed doesn't speak for APC again? Has he suddenly gone dumb? Not heard from him for a long time now.

A man who betrays his party by forming alliance with the opposition and also refused to attend the mock election his party organized but was quick to organize his own mock election to elect principal officer is never to be trusted.

If Bukola can betray his own father, then nobody should ever trust him because of his desperation.

Nonsense. APC better stand firm and insist that the party position be respected if they ever want to take control of the senate again. The president himself must support the party leadership in enforcing party discipline. Without the president coming out publicly to back up party decisions, the likes of Saraki will continue to spit on the party decision and eventually, indiscipline among members will tear the party apart. The president and the party leadership should wield the big stick now before it is too late.

2. The said letter was received after the various APC Zonal Caucuses had taken their decisions to nominate candidates as Principal Officers of the Senate in line with parliamentary convention and the extant provisions of the Senate Standing Orders 2015 as amended (Chapter VI, Rules 28, 29 & 31 refers). This was follow up to the prior APC Senate caucus meeting held on 23rd June, 2015

At the bold words, amended provision without 51 out of 106 members of Senate to pursue a selfish ambition. He was lucky that Buhari is not a person who play money politics that the oil cabals with the backing of David Mark who passed over 40 bills in less than 30 minutes without passing Petroleum Industrial Bill to take control of Senate to kill the perceived anti-corruption campaign of the current administration.

Kudos to the SW for fighting for their right to aligned themselves in the national power of 8th Republic but our SS and SE brother ganging up against Tinubu to the detriment of their Zones. With their support the North controls Nigeria (Executive - North, Judiciary - North, Senate President - North, Majority Leader - North, Speaker - North .....) and are happy with their emergence as Deputy Senate President who has no say without a Northerner Senator David Mark.

I can remember how the SW were called names because they supported a Northerner Muslim for President, now that we find ourselves supporting the same Northerner Muslims for NASS leadership position, I believe the SS and SE should adopt those same names we called the SW during the last election period.

I remember that Judas Iscariot eventually took his own life grin grin grin.

I doubt Saraki knows the meaning of LOYAL. I don't blame him, it is just right for him to chose people who won't be a threat to his seat and his other ambition. Following the party's directive is suicidal for his ambition.

Anyway, I don't think I am bothered about Saraki's escapade, what I am after is if his betrayal would affect the masses positively. If it does, kudos to all involved.

I feel no pity for polithiefcians. They never mean well.

This is what I have been saying before. APC were too excited about power that it refused to put checks. Enjoy Saraki but he will get served someday

Saraki ambition has nothing to do with the change revolution of the party. Apc has always been an opposition with many power blocs, so the party is still learning how to galvanize power and instil discipline among its members.

Saraki ambition shouldn't be used as a yardstick to conclude that the party has failed. They are still learning and I'm sure they will survive the imbalance they are experiencing. In as much as Nigeria doesn't recognise independent candidature, Saraki is bound by the rules of his party.

My gut feeling tells me Saraki will eventually decamp back to the PDP, sooner or later -- just like Tambuwal eventually decamped -- coz like Tambuwal, a perpetual shadow will always hang over his tenure for defying the party that gave him the platform to become a lawmaker in the first place. He'll always have legitimacy issues.

APC should have learnt from PDP rather than learning the hard way. It is surprise to me that the APC that has been managing their affairs in Lagos without much stress is unable to replicate that at the National level. Saraki and co deeds to PDP should have kept APC at alert. The party better learn because Hurricane PDP is coming to sweep them in 2019

You are saying this because PDP had become matured by 2007 upward. Don't forget PDP was changing senate presidents like pads between 1999 to 2007. APC had ethnic champions that come together to achieve their success. What they need now is come together under a united party. Let's give them the chance !

I don't believe in sabotaging government. Most of these guys in APC has been in politics before now and they should have learnt from the former ruling party. Even as at now PDP is yet to get their acts right but I don't think they will ever degenerate to this level that Saraki and APC are.
