A friend of mine narrated how her brother was scammed yesterday. the brother uses two bank,first bank and stanbic. he did his bvn registration at stanbic ibtc,with the intention of going to first bank with the number. only for him to be called by a supposed staff of ist bank asking if he has done his bvn registration, and if yes he shd send the number number. He obliged, gbam nxt tin he started getting debit alerts till it was up to the maximum withdrawal for the day. so pls nairalander nvr do any bvn transaction / verification over the phone.
