PETITIONS
The who,where,how,which,whom,whose,what if's,for what;
frequently asked,unanswered questions of life
Its easier to ask friends,colleagues,parents,bosses,pastors,cle
rics these questions but only to the end of their own finite
understanding will they be able to provide answers,which rather
even often than not confuses the petitioner or raise further
questions"how do I get these answers?".
Then I decided to turn to a much greater authority,the
government,mostly unreachable,inaccessible,out of reach to the
masses ,"who has the answers to my questions?".
In my search,I stumbled on a far more greater,collective,ancient
power,scribbled with quills and inks,marked and carved with the
efforts and labors of unending research,primitive and a dying
culture to the youths,fountain of knowledge,ridden and written
with wisdom,laden with myths,histories and prophecies,still
nothing on the pages of dust infested books and
archives,"where do I turn to"?.
Yes the internet,a pile of junks,polluting our lives with
garbage,an unending source of confusion with no restrictions,a
general dumping site for unscrupulous,unconfirmed,untested
facts and theories: lip sealed"what more can a curious me do?"
Frustrated I am,give up I won't ,irate,confused but still focused
on the task at hand,I turned to what seemed like my last
resort.My conscious mind went wild like a cornered
snake,painting pictures and scenerios like a painters
brush,theorizing like a scientist,all futile efforts as I am left in
the dark still asking "which way do I go".
Finally,I succumb to my defeat,retired to my cozy room.As I lay
on my bed ,flashes of events on my tired mind,I drifted into an
unknown world ,glorious and magnificent space,distant chants
of praises,melodies filled the air,a scent of victory like rose
water,refreshing sound as water trickled and tides clashed
against rocks behind me.I approached a vast enormous
hall,walls of nothing I have seen in my earthly sojourn.There at
the gate laid a creature beyond imaginable description,walls
creaked,thunders rumbled,the ground quaked as he asked "Son
of man filled with unbelief,what do you seek".
There I laid my petitions ,a scroll long,etched on fine pulp
finished paper,an encyclopaedia with myriads of questions,but
for you I will summarize :
WHY is God silent to our cries?
WHEN will justice be meted on the wicked?
WHO will save us from this destruction?
HOW do we proceed from here?
WHERE can we find peace and love?
WHICH weapon kills evil?
WHAT if our entire live is someones experiment,WHAT is the
inference?
IS there still hope for our world?
Buzz buzz something buzzed and buzzed and I awoke, with
dreamy eyes my mobile phone buzzed and interrupted my
probe.
As I await response from God knows where,I pray you to keep
your hearts open ,meditate on these words ,be prepared as you
may be the one,yes the one to bring back the message or the
one,the change we need,the savior,the super hero we are
waiting for!!!
