* Secures examination report from regulatory agencies * Top executives of financial institutions panic TENSION is rapidly rising in several banks over the move by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate certain fraudulent transactions in the banking industry. Reliable sources close to the Commission revealed to National Daily that the EFCC has resolved tom probe anything probable in the country to give impetus to the anti-corruption war of the present administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and further give currency to boosting Nigeria's reputation on anti-corruption war in the international community. Our sources disclosed that over years, the EFCC has focused its anti-graft searchlight directly more on politicians but is now changing its strategy by looking deep into the banking sector.
