The rumour and subsequent manifestion thereof, that FG had a plan to move and the eventual movement of Boko Haram prison inmates into Anambra state has thrown the entire south east, and Anambra State in particular in disarray. Anambrarians agitate that B.H prisoners should not be moved to the state and south east in general on the rationale that the fate that befell the people of North East would befall them should there be a jail break. Secondly, the possibility of  sect members, radicalising the other inmates is something to dread of.

According to them, it is not a wise security decision to move terrorist to other parts of the country where peace is relatively maintained. It is better to contain the menace in the north east and tackle them from there. 

However, some analysts argue in support of the move. According to them, it will compel all Nigerians to feel the heat of the sect's activity. Hence, all will be actively involved in the fight against terrorism. They argue that the same objective of moving military head quarters to north east is not far from the Anambra case, which is to make the military base in the north east, Boko Harams' first port of call. That way, they could be compelled to live up to their bidding.

Others, in exasperation,  question the wisdom in the delay to try and execute B.H suspects ever since they were apprehended.

I share the pain of the last group who question the delay in the execution of these nuisance and I will quickly blame it on Gudluck Ebele Jonathan's political interest. His political interest almost brought Nigeria to her knees. He compromised a lot of issues, especially the ones he perceived would work against his personal interest to gain support of northerners. He failed to try and execute significant number of Bokoharam's suspects and the a few he executed, were done in secrecy. Take the release of Almza Mustapha from prison, What was the rationale?The minister of interior conducted an employment recruitment that is adjudged the worst exercise the world over. What was his action? The subsidy scam and it's probe and counter probe was swept under the rug and so many other events that impacted ordinary Nigerians negatively that he allowed because he did not want to step on toes, and consequently Mar his ambition.

Those are mess his administration never cleaned up and if PMB want to leverage on that to punish - so to speak, those he  perceived to be  GEJ's supporters, i blame GEJ. He was never selfless as he claimed .

In conclusion, PMB should be reminded that two wrongs cannot make a right. Anything he does should follow global best practices. On that note, I agree with those who are of the opinion that the menace of Bokoharam should be contained in the north east to avoid infestation of the entire country by moving them to other regions. If we sincerely want to win the war against Bokoharam, they must be contained in the north east.
