Election has come and gone,yet Nigeria still remain as one indivisible country.All the mudslinging has come and gone but the scare still remain. Goodluck Jonathan was the president of Nigeria officially between may 29th 2011 and may,29 2015.
During this period,people from diverse ethnicity especially the majority ethnic groups decided to make the country ungovernable for the gentle man through their words,actions and deeds.They all abused and cursed him and his family,yet the man never uttered any word in response.few years ago,sensing the corruption in the oil sector,he decided to remove the oil subsidy...
Guess what happened,all hell was let loose.they all insulted him and his wife,calling him clueless,otueke village man and all sort of abusive slang that was there to say,but he never replied being a gentle man that he is.Not satisfied,same set of people used boko haram to terrorized his government, prior to 2011 election,some of them vehemently declared that "if Goodluck Jonathan wins,they will make the nation ungovernable for him" and true to their words,they sincerely kept to it.boko haram became a political tool for the opposition party and the used it as their campaign tool against the then government of Goodluck Jonathan.this guys never saw any positivity in the then government of the day.the fact that Nigeria became the country with the highest GDP after rebase aswell as the fastest growing economy in Africa meant nothing to them.the fact that Nigeria vehicle production and assemblage took a positive dimension with inroad of innoson,nissan,etc,meant nothing for them.the fact that our corpers "allawee" was raised to over 120 percent meant nothing to them.the fact that special schools were designed and built for the kids in the north which they all dejected in the past meant nothing to them.The fact that railway began operation after decades of been in comatose meant absolute nothing to this enemies of Nigeria and Nigerians.luckily for them they used propaganda,succeeded and won the election,but instead of Jonathan crumbling and protesting as they all expected,he rather called buhari to congratulate him even before the final announcement was made.

He did what his opponent couldn't do in three previous occasions.Goodluck Jonathan instantly became a hero and has so far become a role model to lots of his critics,Nigerians,Africans and the world over.we all thought that after they "won",boko haram would stopped,but we were wrong.since may 29 2015 till date,boko haram has so far slaughtered over 700 Nigerians.the most painful one to me is today's massacre of over 137 Nigerians by this deadly sect and the most surprising thing is that the ruling party has so far kept mute,pretending not to be aware of such occurrence.was Jonathan voted out because of non performance or because of the fact that he is from the minority tribe?

Many northerners were relieved of their appointments to be replaced by Diezani, Emiefele, Ekpeyong (the DSS boss), Arase, and many others, but you didn't see it as appointing southerners only, and northerners didn't complain because it's only you who knows when their brothers ate touched. And is it not too early to conclude about the shape of this administration. Buhari is not the Buhari of yesteryears.
