Very intelligent people with high IQ tend to be more skeptical and rational, and therefore more impervious to religious indoctrination.

If the primitive part of your brain dominates your worldview, then you are more likely to be selfish, greedy, hot tempered, religious, dependent of social validation etc. These would be your natural predispositions, unless it is tempered with good education in social setting conducive for learning.

If on the other hand, one grows up with a dominant rational part of the brain, such person would tend to be rational, inquisitive, logical, show healthy skeptism, Always in control, good at pattern recognition, independent. When boosted with education, the person would most likely secretly or publicly question religious beliefs that had been spoonfed to him/her from childhood.

Studies and studies have shown that the latter tend to have a higher IQ than the former.

Lets see links to these studies which is WIDELY accepted by the Scientific community and not crappy theories supported by few like Big Bang Theory.
