U guys should be careful with these lithium packed batteries. Many of them don't have in-biult fan, and many don't have auto cut-off charge when battery is fully charged...
That was how I bought one and it overcharged and blew , burning my two chairs and other stuffs...
GUYS BEFORE BUYING SUCH SET UP, FIND OUT IF IT HAS AUTO CUT-OFF INDICATOR TO AVOID OVERCHARGING AND EXPLOSION.....

if u are on a really tight budget and watching tv on a small screen aint an issue, i will advice u just buy a tv tuner for 5-8k. Get a 50amp deep cycle battery for 25-30k. get an 80watt china panel for 13-16k, get a 500watts china inverter for 10k. Get dc 3 dc bulbs for 3k. U should be looking at 60-70k.

U could step down the battery and get 2 18amps battery for 8k each(16k total). This will bring u to arnd 50-60k

What is the power rating of your laptop?

I wouldn't advice that you go for lumos because it is a "penny wise palm foolish" initiative. What sort of power plan is that where you would have to pay at least N3,600 every 20 days whether you make use of it or not? Secondly, I don't endorse lumos because the capacity it produces is fixed and not expandable or upgradable unlike the normal solar solutions which we offer. (eg: You cannot expand the battery capacity of a lumos inverter incase you need to power more appliances).

Only you can value the stress in getting and putting them up together.. Maybe 2k

Why not buy Suoer 1000w inverter with inbuilt charger(Modified Sine wave) for only 15k, to save stress, plenty wire here and there on the ground and space?

...You won't need to buy inverter when you want to upgrade to solar system, will only buy charge controller and Solar panel..

Why is no one talking about the dangers of using modified sine wave with fans? Ceejay, you need to warn people about the dangers of using modified sine wave with gadgets that use rotors.
