Ours is a different model, the smart charger seller has something similar to this, I chose mine cos its metal casing, this one with digital screen is plastic

Never noticed it, all I do is just charge or sometimes set the nob to 80-100ah or sometimes higher since my batteries put together is 160ah

putting the charger nob to 80-100 reads charging at 18amps. tho my battery is below 100ah

I have heard of the conversion, though no casualties yet. But my own view, if you need a propane generator set, just buy one and stay safe. Also mind environmental conditions of the place you wish to keep the generator and cylinder.

The technology has been around for awhile but have u asked why it's not so popular? Obviously it cleaner and quieter than using a petrol gen and only involves changing the caburator to the one that channels the propane gas, or one that can use both; unfortunately the cost of using gas still outweighs the cost of petrol and that's the singular reason it's not that popular.

The only cost efficient reason to use one now would be that u're connected to the gas grid and get it at a very cheap price.

Note this is just my opinion. Cheers

It depends on the wattage and type of panels (monocrytalline or polycrystalline). the monocrystalline are usually a little bit more expensive. 100watt polycrystalline is between 10k - 13k, while monocrystalline is between 15k-20k. The higher the wattage, the higher the price. Charge controllers are now very affordable, some sell for 3k on Konga/jumia (http:///intelligent-10a-12v-120w-pwm-solar-panel-regulator-adapter-charge-controller-2194040). So, the prices quoted are not bad.

It's a NO NO for me.

Just discovered that my led TV watts can be reduced to 37watts by adjusting or setting the picture mode to "ECOhome" which is 37watts ,
When i select DYnamic mode it automatically goes to 100watts and when u choose STANDARD mode its 72watts,
My new 32inch led TV is now on ecohome mode which is just 37watts

Sorry for replying late. The battery is a used mercury model but the battery just stand kakara.My pastor helped me to get it. I got the solar panels from Alaba market and the solar charge controller is pwm. The solar panels are in 30watt mono and 70 watts poly all giving out more than 6amps for 10 hours. I will finish the assemblage tmao.

what is the specification of your charge controller?

20amps, pwm. Its a chinese product. Office assignment is not giving me enough time but i will try and complete the set up tmao.Am using the battery with my lappy now.
