A married man with kids believed to be about 45 years old is currently at large after defiling seven children in Okere Community, Warri, Delta State,Fresh Angle Internationalcan authoritatively report.
Our Senior Correspondentreports that the seven children are ages 15, 12, 8, 14, 7, 10 and 11.
One of the victims who is now 15 years old disclosed toFresh Angle Internationalin an exclusive chat that the man, who sell Indian hemp started having sexual intercourse with her when she was 8 years old, adding that the 45-year old pedophile usually threaten to kill her with knife with further threat to bury her in his house whenever she wanted to raise alarm. She noted that as a result of that she could not tell her parents.
The victim, a Junior Secondary School 2 student of Basic Secondary School, Ugbuwangue, Warri further revealed that whenever her parents sent her to go and buy something for domestic use, the man usually call her into his house to coerce her into having sex with him.
Another child, a primary six pupil of Torufa Primary School, Warri, explained that the suspect always forcefully send them on errand as a ploy to sexually molest them.
The seven underage children stressed that the man usually tell lies to their parents, accusing them of what they did not do, thus incurring the wrath of their parents.
According to them, the 45-year old man sometimes gives themN100 orN200 to entice them so as to keep his evil deeds secret.
Chairman of Okere Community Youth, Solomon Temile toldOur Senior Correspondentthat they have reported the unfortunate incident to the Police at ‘A’ Division in Warri so as to track the fleeing pedophile.
He advised parents to dedicate more time for their wards to avoid molestations of this nature.
Temile vowed that if caught, the man will be banished from the community to serve as deterrent to others with such evil intention.
Vice Chairman of Okere Community Youth Taskforce, Master Otehtubi stated that they got a distress call from one of the parents of the victims, but before they could reach the house of the suspect, he got wind of their imminent presence and ran away from the community.
Investigation reveals that the fleeing pedophile, a security man working with Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, was driven from Edjeba and Ogunu Communities, both in Warri for similar act before moving to Okere Community.
