'Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha told public sector workers in his state, some of whom have not been paid for six months, to be “resourceful”.

He said they should “stop depending on salary and look for business to do”.

This is the level the governance of Imo State has descended. It is a bit rich coming from a governor who can’t pay salaries of public sector workers in his state but has bought a private jet since he became governor, and is advising workers to take on businesses on the side that would mean they can’t concentrate on their jobs.

The same governor has not bothered to be “resourceful” himself and sought other ways for his state to become a viable entity through other sources of revenue, rather than over-rely on monthly allocations from the federal government.'

A civil servant has no business in doing business.

Resourceful? How?

Engage in other things so as to survive?

The same govt will condemn them on the basis that they should be committed to the job they are being paid for,

How can u serve two masters at a time and still want maximum productivity?

If rochas has been resourceful all these while, he wouldn't be owing Imo workers,

For now,I am busy, I will comment #inthefulnessoftime

U just said the same governor is not resourceful
Or u re not talking of a very rich okorocha even before he joined government, that feed most vulnerable and less privileged with a lot of foundations spread across the nation.....so laziness can generate such wealth?

I Want believe u we talk in of a different okorocha.... And I pray ur hate will not kill you and choose failure instead of success when u ve option to choose just because u ve been blindfolded!
