CyanogenMod is a free and open community that specializes in building custom ROMs for android device over Official stock firmware. Most of their custom ROMs build are designed to increase performance and reliability over Official ROMs released by Carriers.

With the latest release of their Android 5.0 Cynagenmod 12.1 custom ROMs which was made available to the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Duos GT-I9192, Android users can now upgrade their S4 mini duos GT-I9192 to 5.0 Lollipop.



I am hoping that Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9192 owners will be able to install Cyanogenmod 12.1 on their S4 Mini GT-I9192 easily without having any problems after going through my tutorials. Below are steps via which you can install Android 5.0 Lollipop Cyanogenmod 12.1 on S4 Mini GT-I9192.

WARNING! This ROM is for the GT-I9192 variants only!

NOTE: Make sure to backup all files on your S4 Mini GT-I9192 before installing CM 12.1!!!

STEPS TO INSTALLING ANDROID 5.0 LOLLIPOP CYANOGENMOD 12.1 ON SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 MINI DUOS GT-I9192

1. First, you have to download CYANOGENMOD 12.1 CUSTOM ROM for S4 Mini GT-I9192 HERE.

2. Next, you have to download Gapps (Google Apps) for S4 Mini GT-I9192.

3. After downloading the above files, Copy the files (CM 12.1 & GAPPS) into an SD CARD that has been formatted and insert into your S4 Mini GT-I9192.

4. Next, Switch off your phone and boot to Recovery mode by holding down (Volume up + Power button + Home button) together. Make sure all three buttons are held down together the same time.

5. Once you are inside Recovery mode, you have to choose ‘’wipe data/factory reset” to perform wipe on your device.

6. And then, you have to choose “install zip from SD card” on your S4 Mini GT-I9192 and then search for the zips files (CM 12.1 & GAPPS) you copied to your SD card and install them.

7. Now you have to return to the main menu of your S4 Mini GT-I9192 and then choose “Reboot system now” option.

Now you have to be patient for your S4 Mini GT-I9192 to restart and upgrade itself to Android 5.0 Lollipop CM 12.1 while you can relax. If successful, then you should have Android 5.0 Lollipop Cyanogenmod 12.1 on your S4 Mini GT-I9192.
