Why would a woman for whatever reason stay in an abusive marriage like this? If she dies in the process, who would take care of her children when it's obvious the man care less?

Such a monster deserves to be alone, like placed in solitary. While many are without children, you are destroying yours with your wicked acts. This man is a shame to all fathers and should have been made impotent because he isn't fit to be called a father.

Poverty of the mind and of the body. Over fifty percent of nigerian parents are themselves child-like,not fit to be anywhere near children,including school teachers and so-called clergies.

Violence is a way of life in Nigeria. It is accepted everywhere,even in churches where people are suppose to feel safe.

There's nothing new here, most Nigerian marriages are filled with some type of violence, it's the African way of dealing with poverty, stress and so on. Look at the situation carefully, beating over lotto, this is clearly a frustrated man. The man should be jailed immediately or the children taken away to child services but in Nigeria we all know there's no justice.
