A federal high court in Port Harcourt had sacked the chairmen last Thursday as it accused the past administration of Rotimi amaech for flouting a court order which had stopped the conduct of the election.


But ruling today, the national industrial court directed the inspector-general of police to provide security for the chairmen.

The reinstated chairmen will take over from the caretaker chairmen appointed by the state governor, Nyesom Wike, following their sack.

The report however added that the caretaker chairmen could not assume office as policemen lay siege by all the local government secretariats in the state.

Hmmm... waiting for the appeal

The court that reinstate them is not competent in law to handle such matters.

If they were not satisfied with the judgment of the Federal High Court, it was for them to appeal to a higher Court.

Anyway, the Judge has seen some green.

Period! They cannot be reinstated because there is a superior court judgement,until that case in the federal high court delivers judgement only then they can appeal.
I want to see if truly this IG of Nigeria police is not a witch hunter.
