It's because they see christianity as a rival religion and rome(vatican) is the base of the largest and oldest christian congregation in the world. No doubt in my mind these muslims are agents of the anti Christ, it's so obvious that they like mentor mohamed are working for satan.

Because during Mohamed's time Rome was the greatest See of the Christian Church followed by Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem. All the other Apostolic Sees have been taken by them and Rome is the only one remaining and it is their ambition to take Rime and convert all the basilicas into mosques like. they did to the Hagia Sophia. Islam is a religuon invented largely out of a rejection of the gospel so it should not surprise anyone that they seek the destruction of Christianity.

Catholicism is an arm of Christianity, the fact that they have some false doctrines does not mean they are not christians. Pentecostal churches also practise a lot of false doctrines like staging miracles, tithing and first fruit and nobody is accusing them of not being Christians because of these false doctrines so why the double standard against the catholics?
