Muhammad claimed to have been transported from Mecca (just a short distance away from the Kaaba) to Al Aqsa so that he could ascend to heaven, haggle with Allah to reduce prayers from 50 to 5 and even offered wine.
Al Aqsa today muslim say is Jerusalem Temple Mount but it means furthest mosque. Which by then was only 60 miles from Um Hann's bedroom where he was sleeping during the night of ascension.
