I dont think so for 3 reasons. 1one has to be in that position for at least 24 hours before death can occur. Death is by sufforcation..as you try to balance your weight , one exerts preassure on the lungs..so the fastest way to hasten desth is for the knees to be broken. According to the 4 gospel he was there for less than 6 hours. and his knees where not broken. 2. Joseph of arimathea took his body down. if he was dead.this will make him inpure and he could not partake in the passovver 3. Oh dear! It doesn't matter, there is no exact description of the tree or wood Jesus died on in the bible. The most important thing is that he was crucified, made sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him 2Cor 5:21 |
