Gynaecologists In The House Pls Help by cupid0(f): 11:53pm On Jul 24, 2015
Am 20years old and it all started june last year. i had a severe stomach pain that pushed me to go to a hospital. the doctor couldnt diagnose what the problem was, same with the 2nd doctor. i was placed on treatment.
Fast forward to december, the stomach ache returned with greater intensity and pain. went back to another hospital where i did scan and HVS test and it was diagnosed to be PID. i took a treatment of 3months and it stopped.
2weeks ago, the pain returned but this time accompanied with bleeding. i did hot water compress and took hot water too. after that i started having non itchy discharges, some accompanied with blood, sometimes yellowish or brownish. i went back to another hospital and was told to undergo HVS again.
Last tuesday on my way to the hospital, i had a little stomach ache but on getting to the hospital, i noticed that i was bleeding and couldnt to the test.
Since tuesday till now, severe tommy ache accompanied by bleeding and strong odor like rotting flesh. Its affecting me psychologically and i need help.

There are some questions l would have loved to ask you but you know this is a public domain. However l will advise you visit a teaching hospital where you can see a gynaecologist (unfortunately many TH are on sttike). You need a specialist care.

Sorry dear...

It's likely you were either misdiagnosed or you were poorly managed

But u need to go to a teaching hospital asap before things become worse....

You could still send a mail if you wish

The PID was poorly treated; the diagnosis is as clear as daylight.
PID with bleeding is a precursor to frozen abdomen. It is an advanced, rare form of neglected or poorly treated PID.
A specialist will do for you in this case. Dont waste any more time.

Can you shed more light on the symptoms?
1. Where is the abdominal pain located? upper/mid/lower abdomen? right/left/midline?
2. Any pain with menstruation?
3. Any fever?
4. What is your urine pregnancy test result like? positive/negative
5. Have you done a pelvic scan? result?

The aim is to first exclude the most serious causes? ie ectopic pregnancy, pelvic abscess, endometritis, septic miscarriage.
Once a diagnosis is arrived at, then the treatment is easy. The most difficult aspect is to arrive at a diagnosis first.
