talking of the weekend games, our rivals (spuds) did us a "hiding" favor by beating A.Villa,though Spuds needed to win to save themselves from the relegation battle as well,so i really do not see it as a BIG favor anyways . . .

After much said,i would like to ask our "friends" from the other teams how the weekend went? talking of the L'pool fans,the MAN UTD fans and Chelsea fans as we all expect the UEFA CL draw this Friday.

Nice one guys - glad to see our big guns (Kit and others) returning just as Walcott and others are returning on the pitch.

Let's not get euphoric yet - we need to WIN tomorrow and get into that semi final and then beat Newcastle over the weekend and hope that Villa continue their losing/drawing run to put clear daylight between us.

For the first time since November, our fate in the league is back in our hands, and for the first time in a very long time, we scored 4 goals and created tons more, while being able to rotate and rest players.

I wouldn't be talking about 'top 3' at the moment, let us just win each game as it comes and we'll see how far we can go.

Make no mistake about it - we still need to face Chelski, Liverpool and Man Utd this season, and all three are going to be VERY UP FOR IT. Hopefully by those games we'll have all our big guns back and raring to go.

Records are made to be broken muchacho! Liverpool had not beaten you at OT in the League since Benitez came along but when they did it was a hammering Chelsea's case would be similar

As for Rosicky's matter i am tired its so sad to see players of his quality stay injured for that long we have really missed his experience and technique and with him and Fabregas back and Nasri and Arshavin in the mix we would be spoilt for choice in that midfield i can only hope he gets back to his best or at least close to it

Happy Birthday Theo! I hope you mark it with a goal today. . . .I remember his steaming run against Hull led to the goal we scored the last time they came to the Emiraati.

Team news, Arshavin will likely not play - the butchers of Blackburn left him with 8 stitches in his foot, so he'll likely be on the bench for this one.

Ramsey and Clichy will not play, and Fabianski will be in goal as usual for FA cup games. Dudu is still out for this one though.

On Rozzi's injury, I hear it's nothing serious, just a groin strain like Dudu had on Wednesday so he should be back in training. His knee and hamstring (which were the main injuries) have healed fully and there is no issue with those at the moment. That said, I won't expect him back till maybe the last two games of the season. I'm still dreaming of him coming back and scoring for us either in the CL or FA cup final.

On a final note, Arshavin must be a real dwarf from the picture below. PS Ade shouldn't get Andrey caught up in his partying madness, we need players focused on footie for the rest of the season.
