Cristalz:

@BlueDiva
Madam, if you need a babysitter that will kiss your feces when you dump it in the sitting room, go somewhere else 'cos I'm not that person.

You're the one that brought yourself here first thing in the morning to make dumb accusations at me. My response wasn't even an insult. . .it was simply fact based on your actions, and your thoughts. . .or lack of them.

Smallie, take it easy.
No hard feelings.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Phony200(m): 7:44am On May 02, 2009
Today's game is a must-win. There're no two ways about it. Even if we start Macheda, I'm positive about nicking all three points.
@Cristie,
What's up with the policing on NL nowadays? I got banned the whole of yesterday. Reason was spam. I'm not sure if it helped o but i emailed your oga last night to look into it and I discovered the message wasn't there this morning. You're the only mod I can ask. What now constitutes spamming? And i'd appreciate if i knew what caused the ban in the first place.
All red devils, sorry for the digression.

@BlueDiva
If that's my apology, it does need a lot of work, but um. . .I accept. grin

@Phony200
Aw, sorry about that dearie.

I think it's the same thing that happened to akinalabi that happened to you. I'll send an explanation to your inbox in a minute,k?

Hmm. . .The last Macheda and Tev combo didn't really work. . .time when Welbeck was pairing well with Macheda but wasting his final balls. Perhaps it might be better this time.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Tmoni(m): 12:16pm On May 02, 2009
Berba & Macheda combined upfront,

Our OAP's in the midfield,

Our Smallie in the post,
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by oYaTo(m): 12:22pm On May 02, 2009
weird line-up. . . undecided
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 12:47pm On May 02, 2009
Very weird indeed. But it should be okay. . .Rooney isn't a bad winger, but you bet he won't stay there. He'll be in and out of the hole as well.

I suspected Fergie wouldn't do Tev - Macheda again since it didn't go well last time. . .let's hope Berba- Macheda works better.

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:00pm On May 02, 2009
Why is Evra going AWOL on the left flank? Most of their attacks are coming from there.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:03pm On May 02, 2009
Boro playing much quicker than United, and retaining possession longer when they have it.

More of their attacks still coming from United's left flank. What is going on back there?
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:08pm On May 02, 2009
Rafael can be seen warming up. Probably just a precaution, doubt that Fergie will make any changes soon. But Tuncay is really pressing United's back line.

United still trying to establish a rhythm, butt Giggs and Rooney are making a lot of lovely moves forward. Another shot over the bar from Rooney.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:09pm On May 02, 2009
Aliadiere takes a quick shot with his left, blocked nicely by Foster's foot.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:12pm On May 02, 2009
GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Ryan Giggs!!!!
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by tubabie(f): 1:12pm On May 02, 2009

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by oYaTo(m): 1:13pm On May 02, 2009
From what i've been reading online, e b like say that Tuncay dude na dem real threat, abi?

Is Macheda playing well?
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by oYaTo(m): 1:13pm On May 02, 2009
correct! grin

Now for the 2nd one. .
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:17pm On May 02, 2009
Ben Foster is being a lovely GK.

Now Evra's stepping up to his duties on the left. Less leaky than before.

@oyato

  Tuncay and Aliadiere are the main troublemakers.  .  .

Macheda is playing well, but our hard workers so far, attack-wise, are Rooney and Giggs.

@tubabie
Hey dearie, howzit goin'? grin

Replied you. wink
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:26pm On May 02, 2009
Macheda gets a yellow for a rough tackle.

Hmm. . .but Rooney got away with something similar earlier. Perhaps ref is vexing,lol.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by oYaTo(m): 1:27pm On May 02, 2009
Macheda needs to justify his inclusion. . . undecided
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:30pm On May 02, 2009
Tevez warming up on the sidelines.

Now, could someone remind Berba that he is not a midfielder? He keeps going deep into the MF when he should be upfront, on the lookout for balls to tuck in. And the worst part is, he hasn't got pace, so when he does get the ball in MF he doesn't take two steps before he is dis-possessed. Annoying.

Rooney is just everywhere, working like a horse. Scholes keeping some nice balls coming from the middle.

Boro aren't attacking so well, but the little they've tried so far have been easy for Foster. United in control of this, for now.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:32pm On May 02, 2009
Paul Scholes tries a lovely shot, but it goes wide.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:35pm On May 02, 2009
Justin Hoyte should be ashamed of himself. Berbatov went past him like he wasn't even there. Poor defending.

The pass to Scholes was neat, but Scholes shot wide. Again.

Half over.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by oYaTo(m): 1:35pm On May 02, 2009
Half Time  cool
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 1:46pm On May 02, 2009
We started slow, but picked up the pace later.

Rooney has been lovely on the left wing.  .  .rather impressive. His crosses have been precise, and he drifts into the hole too to do some nice work. Most of the attempted shots were from him.

  Giggs has been lovely too. Nothing beats experience.  .  .his goal was cool as a cucumber. Himself and Scholes have held the MF well. Park has not been too obvious, but hez been okay. No serious complaints about the MF for me, other than Berba should stay outta there and keep himself in front, where he should be.

  Defense has held, but Boro's attacks have been weak, no bite. Not surprising they are facing relegation. Still, Foster has been a ball magnet.
Boro are playing well, but their attack needs work.

  Macheda is playing okay, but no 'geniusy' moves.  .  .guess we're expecting too much. Team doesn't really need any change, but seeing as we need to win this with more goals, Fergie just might take Macheda off for Tev.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by chamotex(m): 1:49pm On May 02, 2009
We need that 2nd goal ASAP!!!

Just good wink. just replied u now too.

@ Topic
The match has been neither here nor there.
Rooney and Giggs have been vital and hard-working
Both teams seem comfortable and not showing the hunger needed, but hopefully Middlesborough midfield and defence will open hope in the 2nd half when they get desperate.
Macheda is still sorta lost , working hard with no result
Rooney and Giggs are doing great.
I certainly think we need a Tevez in this game to give pace , and reduce the pressure on the midfield so we can score more and wrap this game up.
