I thought the newscaster made a mistake this morning on a radio station when listening to the sport news. So, it's real Keshi also want his own billion share of the naira from our treasury.

Sacked Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is demanding N1billion compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for defaming him. According to Vanguard, Keshi has dragged the NFF to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”. A top source told said

“Keshi’s lawyers have demanded for a billion Naira from the NFF as compensation for defaming their client.”

A letter from Keshi's lawyers was sent to NFF on Friday July 24th. Keshi was sacked by the NFF on July 5 just four months after he'd signed a new two-year contract to coach the Super Eagles.

Many Nigerians dont have sense.....they mistake purnishment with justice.

Many dont even understand what contract means or the power it holds. Depending on what was written in that contract, the NFF may have to compensate Keshi quite well if he was terminated unlawfully.

I doubt it was written in the contract that we will terminate you if you dont wim world cup, or you dont qualify for.the African nations cup or immediately your Oga Jonathan leaves.

He for sue them 10 billion dollars sef, I know I would if I had an airtight contract.
How can they put him out of a job, merely months after signing him in without any notice...just because the president who was backing him left power?

Abegi NFF must settle him well or find their way to court!
Thank you for your contribution. Many of the comments here are at best hilarious and one sided
