New JAMB Eligibility Policy: Part Of The APC "Change"? by Nobody: 8:34am On Jul 28, 2015 |
The new JAMB eligibility and redistribution policy, wherein a student from Ekiti state with a JAMB score of 240 is ineligible to write post-JAMB in UNILAG but someone from Zamfara with a score of 201 is eligible, is part of the "change" you voted for. The govt (ministry of education ) and JAMB say the arrangement is meant to support less patronized universities and educationally less advantaged parts of the country, but the students are protesting and crying. Enjoy your "change"! 1 Like |

If the North know that they cannot cope in a competitive Nigeria and gain access to limited resources based on merit, why not just call for a separation instead of suffocating us with these unfair and imbalance policies on routine basis? Must they be spoonfed at all times? This is not the 1st pro-North policy instituted by Nigeria to the detriment of the South since the amalgamation. It calls for wide condemnation from all Southerners irrespective of political party affiliation. 6 Likes |

Sincere9gerian:Yes. Change is the only solution to this long established status quo. The pro-north policies have always been there. Look at population census figures; number of local govts; number of House of Reps members...and even Senators; military officers and civil servants, federal govt institutions and establishments, etc. All skewd in favour of the north. It is not about APC or PDP. It has always been there but Jona did nothing about it. 4 Likes |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: What are you saying? A 3rd class graduate from the north will soon be more employable than 1st class graduate from the south. Biafrans are preparing already. When we make East unlivable for them, we'll see how they'll take the UNN Slot that belongs to Intelligent Okeke and give it to Daft adamu. 1 Like |

EdCure: Yes, Jonathan made attempts to address the imbalance, and that was the reason he convoked the National Confab, and was determined to implement its recommendation, but people like you wanted 'change'. Now you have your change and you are happy.........don't worry, your 'change' President will soon stabilize the international price of oil for us. keep believing your ONE CHANCE DRIVER! 2 Likes |
