MOTHERS! What's Your Baby's Sleeping Position? by ChelseaDr(m): 12:04am On Jul 29, 2015
Mothers in the house, this might sound shocking to you. Have you ever pondered over what position that is best for your baby for sleep....or you think it doesn't matter? Yes it does. If l should ask you now what position you think is best for your baby for sleeping i'm sure your answer will probably be on the stomach or on the side. This happens to be the commonest practuce so far.

Studies have demonstrated that sleeping on these positions increases the risk of Sudden Infant Death Synrrome (SIDS). I'm sure you would have heard stories where a mother and her infant played at night only for the mother to wake up and notice the baby's lifeless body...this is not our portion IJN. SIDS is the death of an infant without any identifiable cause.

What then is the best sleeping position for babies? The best position is to allow your babies sleep on their back. Studies have shown that this position reduces the risk of SIDS when compared to other positions.

It is also recommended that babies share the same room with adults but not the same bed
. I do hope you will put this to use and also spread the message to all.
