Retired workers of uba,today protested against the non payment of their gratiuty,non payment of medical allowance,improvement in their pension monthly payment which is still #10,000 per month in contrast with contemporary banks such as union bank and first bank of nigeria.

It was also revealed that while some management staff of the bank and other staff were collecting an average #1,000,000 to #10,000,000 monthly whille their pensioners collect #10,000 monthly which can not take care of an average student in any higher institution for up to two weeks.

This morning protest is the fourth one for improved packages by the pensioners who are asking for
1.Increase in a review of their monthly pension
2.Thirteenth month salary
3.Medical allowances for them...
