Mohammed Aminu in Sokoto

Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, on Wednesday advised President Muhammadu Buhari to beware of sycophants, saying lack of continuity by the political leadership was the bane of the nation.

Kukah made the remark at the opening ceremony of the 50th annual general meeting of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors held in Sokoto.

According to him, the country would not progress when political leaders keep changing friends and commitment, pointing out that continuity of purpose was necessary to develop as a nation.

The cleric cautioned the President to beware of those people pretending to be his friends while they have a hidden agenda.

A wise man has spoken. It's left for Baba to heed to the advice or not.

In other words, beware of Tinubu grin

"...pointing out that continuity of purpose was necessary to develop as a nation..."

Every government seem to offer something new but later end up underachieving. No sense of continuity

Buhari and his online dogs/sycophants think the only way they can fulfil their electoral promises is by running down his predecessor. On one hand they tell us there was nothing good about the last govt and on another they try to flaunt some of the programmes and policies of the last administration as theirs.

They've abandoned their electoral promise of building brand new refineries to now fighting over who takes credit for rehabilitation of existing refineries. The promise of adding 5000 megawatts to the national grid annually has been thrown to the dogs while the govt and his sycophants now expends energy on who should take credit for recent noticeable improvement in power supply.

They no longer talk about making #1=
$1 but now talks about paltry increases in foreign reserve. All ongoing federal projects are on a standstill currently, except those whose funding line was secured by the last govt such as the second Niger bridge.

In the last govt people were complaining about pace of federal projects, but for the current govt, we're still begging it to take off 4 months after winning an election.

That is what you get in one chance govt led by masturbators
