A woman, Adenike, stabbed one of the robbers who came into her house to death.The robbers who were armed with knives and cutlasses, reportedly gained entrance into the house by damaging the gates.

Adenike was said to have drag the knife from the robber, Iginla, during a struggle, stabbed him in the stomach, after which the robber lost balance and fell from the two-stored building.

Neighbors, who learnt of the robbery, were said to have called the police from the Adeniji Adele Division. The other suspected robbers reportedly escaped after the police got to the area.

Iginla who was rushed to the Lagos island general hospital by the policemen later died on Thursday while Adenike was taken to a private hospital by her family.

A resident who anonymity, said Iginla’s girlfriend showed up to know where her beau was being treated so she could tend to him but the police declined.
