The tribunal sitting in Apo, Abuja, has thrown out the petition filed by All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) against Governor Wike of Rivers state. The petition was brought before the tribunal by Governorship aspirant Mr Charles Harry of the All Progressives Grand Alliance to nullify Wike’s victory on the grounds that the election was not only fraught with irregularities, but was conducted with total disregard to relevant provisions of the Electoral Act. APGA is in Igbo party and exists only in Anambra state. Anything associated with Biafra should remain in the SE. Kudos to the tribunal. This is victory for our democracy. |
