A Pastor of one of the Pentecostal churches in Delta state has been arrested by the Police at a cemetery in Ozoro while allegedly performing rituals with a teenage girl.

DAILY POST gathered that the Pastor has been identified as Oro Oboreh of Christ Freedom Family. He was arrested alongside a 14-year-old teenage girl, Chioma Praise on July 30, 2015, at about 10.30 p.m, by a police surveillance patrol team from Ozoro division, while on routine patrol.

The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu, a Deputy Superintendent, said in a statement on Saturday in Asaba that the Pastor was arrested by detectives acting on a tip-off.

She said, “On interrogation, the suspect claimed that he was performing spiritual healing on the victim to enable her attain academic prowess.”

She also added that the suspect is currently in Police custody and further investigations into the matter has commenced.
