Mikel needs to force a move out off Chelsea so he can salvage his remaining skills. Sitting on the bench for community shield is a slap in the face. What is matic doing that is so extra ordinary? Does he want to ride the bench for the rest of his career? I 've seen him make sublime passes but he doesn't play enough to warrant any mention.

Ordinary community shield u no fit play haba!!!!! Your coach sees no value in you if he can't throw you into a game that they are losing in a competition that is a glorified warm up game.
And we expect him to be midfield dynamo for Nigeria....how can he be? His muscles have forgotten how to. He won't show his displeasure and force a move to a team that will play u more often. Look at Czech....left as a back up and now a starter....Thats a guy that doesn't accept he is a bench warmer. But Mikel? Sits on the bench like its ok.
He has his passport so now what? Even ramires, who I still don't know his value except for being brazillian is ahead of Mikel. Even Zuma sef

The truth of the matter is this, our National is suffering because we hardly have players who are prolific enough and starters for their various club side. If you stay long at a club, you should be able to force a starting berth unless otherwise.



A player of Mikel who has served Chelsea well should be starting for Chelsea but he is far too neglected by Mourinho these days. And he enjoys sitting on the bench and being called Mourinho's boy. Hmmmm....... Loyal player!
