While distracting the media and populace from his low budget projects, he is increasing his popularity in the minds of the people. What was Fayemi's error: He was completely cut off from his people. The Educated elite in Ekiti state had him in a locked room and he didn't know it. Fayose knows that if he has control of the minds of the people, then he has control of the state. Keep on mocking him, while he keeps on heading towards his goal, one square meter at a time.

You're right with the bolded unfortunately. This is why most Nigerians will continue to be suffering and at the same time smiling. I pity my people.

So Fayemi was not close to the people because he was not eating in every available 'Bukas' like Fayose, or pricing 'pomo', pepper, yams in the market, or drinking Palm wine in public with his boys, or riding okada on the streets without wearing an helmet or stopping vehicles on motor ways asking for their licenses...SMH
