Who Causes More Damage In Movies -- Heroes Or Villains? by JayKayMaybachz(m): 9:34am On Aug 07, 2015

Superheroes in movies get all the credit for saving the day, but they can actually be just as destructive to personal property as the villains they fight. A new infographic from HomeAdvisor, an online resource for home improvement projects, stacks up the building bashing (and other destruction) that went on in nine blockbuster films along the lines of the good guys and the bad guys.

While the heroes definitely did less destruction to the world in the films, they're certainly not without blame. Take the Hulk, for instance. He "may be one of the most dangerous entities in the Marvel universe," according the creators of the graphic. "In 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' he wreaked havoc on Seoul. In the chaos, he destroyed an elevator, staircase, city street, and an entire outdoor market as well as cars and buildings. Oops."

Superman doesn't come out blameless either. "Young Clark caused a bus to drive into the river, and later, Superman flew through two corn silos and a gas station and caused a Zod airship to crash into the city, destroying countless buildings," Home Advisor says of the Kryptonian's behavior in 2013's "Man of Steel."

So are there any heroes who use a little finesse? Home Advisor says Batman might just be the most delicate superhero, noting that in 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises," the big bad bat only shattered a glass door when he kicked his nemesis Bane through it.

Compare all that with the fact that Ultron pretty much took out an entire Eastern European city in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and the heroes start to look better and better by comparison.

Besides, what's a few skyscrapers (or plate-glass doors) when you're trying to save the world?
