RIVERS State Accountant-General, Ngozi Y. Abu, has been removed from office. This was disclosed in a statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, the Special Assistant (Media) to Governor Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, a copy of which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune. The Director, Treasury, Sir Dagogo R. Abere, has, therefore, been appointed as Acting Accountant General of the state.
