Highly unlikely. I read somewhere that Dangote received almost a billion dollars from USTDA in grants for the training of refinery staff. Dangote is flush with $$$.

I am assuming these dangote people that were screaming that those who haven't got their passports should go it are on vacation now. I remember vividly the Hr telling us then @ d psychometric stage that the training should have commenced since (& dat was in Nov'15) 3 months ago. Also, those awaiting medical invitew were also assured by "ashaf" last month that they will be called in February...today is Feb19 so you know. My advice as advised by Dangote Hr ...take your mind off it...go on with other plans, apply for other jobs, get married, have kids, stop waiting endlessly and putting your life on hold for dangote. I heard that the resumption of the candidates (August Batch) that have done the Medicals is not until June. Does anyone have information about what's going on?

In any case, the recruitment process may look slow and frustrating, but it looks promising and fair, so keep hope alive.

hello guys... really been a while.. Actually I spoke with a reliable source in the refinery concerning the excruciating waiting so far.

I was told that medicals where ok/ documentation done already and offer letters already on ground but that the director that will give signature and approval is yet to be back from leave.

that we should exercise patience.

for those that have done medicals no need to panic. there is huge light at the end of the tunnel already.

seems its only cesctoti DAT got d passport mail..

I know a friend that got too. But he didn't present a passport on the day of the medicals...

not everyone got an acknowledgment mail... I didn't... But I put a call through to confirm they have gotten it... And I advised others I had their contact to do same and they did confirm theirs too either via call or text msgs...

I did call dem ystrday bt d number was nt available.

Same boat. (4/4 stages)...any other IT guys in the house with/without medical invites?

Getting invite for medicals @ this point for 1st batch, it's either ur 'connect' is strong or u're invited to replace someone that failed the test.
