The Nigerian politician who is currently in Houston, Texas United States was excited to meet US based Nigerian singer, and former Nigerian Idol contestant Jemiriye. Jemiriye who flew to Texas from her base in the U.S, also joined the great "Mama Bakassi" for dinner where the politician and socialite was presented with a copy of FunTime Magazine, a US publication which the singer recently covered.

Jemiriye who earlier shared photos of herself in an aircraft en route Texas wrote on her Facebook page; "Jemiriye, having dinner with Senator Ita Giwa and Senator Donzella James in Houston, Texas. Such an honour to be mentored by these 2 great Women Leaders that have impacted the world positively. She told me she's proud of me(Senator Ita Giwa). I love you Mama Bakasi.
