In continuation of his operational visit to the North East, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd), along with the Chief of Defence Staff, General AG Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal SA Abubakar and the Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, today visited and addressed troops in Damaturu, Yobe State.



After paying courtesy call on Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam, he inspected the newly established Army Headquarters Logistics Base, Tactical headquarters of 3 Division and military hardwares and equipment.



The NSA thereafter addressed troops where he commended their efforts in the war against terrorists and enjoined them to always dedicate themselves to all given tasks and responsibilities. He also emphasised on alertness and adherence to professional ethics of the profession as well as comradeship among the security forces.

Wow, that's a lot of military commanders on display. NSA, IGP, COAS, CODS etc. Kudos to the Armed Forces and may this insurgency end soon

Once upon a time, in someone's admin, the last service chief visiited this same place ONLY once!!! Guess when?? You guessed right...few weeks to election!!!
Now we have gallant service chiefs and NSA that are fearless!
This goes to justify the statement that 'there are NO bad soldiers, ONLY bad commanders!!

Something tells me this set of service chiefs and the NSA would even visit sambissa if that's what it will take to motivate the troops&defeat BH.Such a dedicated and fearless bunch.
