Lol..... Bro you are both saying the same thing. I don't see why you have difficulty seeing the agreement between both.

Do you know God standard for you is to be unconscious of sin as a son? Spend your life not thinking of how to avoid sin? This can only be done by listening to the direct voice of God that guides you everyday and not the listless list of "thou shall not"

The issue is not about thinking about how to avoid sins. Spending your life thinking means that one is depending on human power. The real issue is the nature within. You either have a sinful nature (inherited from Adam) or the divine (holy) nature that the Spirit gives. The solution to sin is to receive the divine nature. How does a person receive the divine nature? That is the question that the churches are supposed to be occupied with. Once you receive the divine nature, it becomes impossible for you to commit sin. Instead of the false statement that you commonly hear, that it is impossible for a human being not to sin, the converse is the case for a person that inherits the divine nature; it is impossible for such a person to commit sin.

Toks2008, God bless you my brother for this.
I get your drift. Some people have seen themselves as being do unworthy of God's mercy that they just give up. They believe they've erred too much and can't be forgiven.
Surprisingly, this is what some churches teach. They run you down with words from the Bible. Tell you how much of a sinner you are; judge you and just make you lose hope.
I've been in situations when I find myself doing something I know I shouldn't be doing as a Christian. Now, on many occasions these actions were not premeditated. They just happened.
What am to do? Give up and continue doing them or sincerely ask for help from my Father?? The latter of course.

Even well- known men of God struggle with sin. When sin is mentioned, all that comes to mind is fornication, adultery, murder, theft and all. Have we thought about spiritual sins? Believe me, God is quicker to judge those than physical ones. Unbelief? Anxiety? A lot of em.

Finally, His ways are never our ways Isaiah 55:8-9.

I am glad you wrote this so my question is answered..
So please tell me why you accused me of heresy? Can you see that people like you are those responsible for sending millions of souls to hell?
Tell me one difference my write up has to what you wrote?
Let me stop here.

all i can say is that you re really 'confused' search your scripture with an open mind and see d posibilities you have in christ wen u re saved. u just said wat u feel pple want to hear nt really wat d bible preaches. all dose great men u mentioned in yur write up dat u said sinned,, were punished by God subsequently; from Abraham t o david and so on..& 2dy if we 1 sin dere might nt be instant judgement because we re in d tym of grace & wen we sin God is patient with us hoping we cm back but if 1 dies in such state its hell straight..there 's nting lik forever saved..

So in your mind you think i have time for you..smh..i don't indulge in beer parlor arguments.

You obviously are not a great teacher of the Bible. Even the OP is not a great teacher. He posted some points that look very much like the new gospels being preached in numerous churches today. It was only when seriously challenged that he began to clarify his stance.

By the way, it is one thing to say that it takes the Holy Spirit to be holy, which is being said by everyone any way, and another thing to go into the practicalities. So many people in this country talk about giving their lives to Christ and about the Holy Spirit, yet you cannot rely on many of them over simple matters.
Apparently, i made no claim to be a "great" teacher of the Bible. Greatness is only ascribed to God.

That being said, like i said, many things are wrong with Nigerians Faith of which is the issue of Gospel. Nigerians have the wrong gospel preached and being preached to them which called for your last statement.

The true gospel of Christ as opposed to that which is being preached was,is and will be "Jesus is the Christ" instead of "Give your life to Jesus." The Holy spirit bears witness, no place has the Apostles ever preached "Give your life to Jesus" but it has always been "Jesus is the Christ"

When this true gospel is being preached, the question of who the Christ is will arose. Many will be answered, fulfilment will be attained. Only in the understanding of the name "Christ" will every soul have answers to all questions.

Wrong gospel preached is why we have characters claiming to know Christ worse than that of pagans.

What i find disconcerting with the Christian faith is this sense of self entitlement. Anyone who doesn't believe in Yahweh or his son Jesus Christ will end up in the lake of fire popularly referred to as hell. Taking into cognisance that there are only about a billion Christians worldwide out of a world population of 7 billion and counting.
Out of the billion Christians three quarters will not make it too heaven but that is besides the point. Assuming every Christian makes it to heaven that still leaves at least between 5.5 billion to 6 billion people to be condemned to eternal damnation simply because they did not believe in the Jewish god nor his son but had their own gods or no god at all. To think this is even a remote possibility has to be the most flawed logic and warped logic ever. Any god contemplating such an idea is simply sick and twisted.

I get you, but if you are able to step back and critically appraise your own opinion you will see that YOU are also coming from a place of self-entitlement.

Once you have answered the alter call once, you are born again once and for all..the next thing is to ask the spirit of GOD to perfect your salvation..shikenah

You see, i wish we live in the same place so we can always have this type of discussion and share knowledge of the truth. I am of the faith a Christain based on the faithful words of Christ can live a sinless life just as Christ do. But tell me, who can i teach such truth as these in Nigeria? I tell you, you are the first person i have seen who believes you can live a sinless life. And that is why i said teachers of the Bibles are needed.

For clarity purpose, all "Christains"(by christains i mean followers of Christ and not follower of Christainity) are freed from sin at salvation. For sins will no longer have dominion over you.

I don't know about you, but i know of every Christains, they live above sin.

May i say you shed light on this statement " Only those who are filled with all the fullness of God at the time of the rapture will follow in the rapture."

Accepting Jesus into your life is not really salvation. Modern day churches preach that salvation is an instantaneous thing, but it is not.

Mt. 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
Mt. 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Mt. 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in [Or into] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mt. 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age.”

Ph. 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed — not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence — continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
Ph. 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Baptism into Jesus Christ, which is accepting Jesus into your life, is just the gate, the beginning. After you enter the gate, you then travel on the narrow road that leads to eternal life.

Lk. 13:22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem.
Lk. 13:23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them,
Lk. 13:24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
Lk. 13:25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, `Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, `I don’t know you or where you come from.’

Liar

Who told you he didn't sin

1) oh lord, why have thou forsaken me > He lost hope in God (on the cross according to your bible)

2) He came to the church and was "angered" by people trading in the house of the lord and then, he "kicked" and "scattered" their goods.

In conclusion,

All humans are sinners, JESUS CHRIST WAS ALSO A HUMAN.

So in other words, Jesus sinned ? Hmmm

Sir, I am a Pastor, and what you wrote or posted is heyressy. I will not and never teach this nonsense to my church. U are not spiritually matured yet bro or whoever u are. U have not understand bthe concept of SIN. Time will not permit me to elucidate more on this, cos I see u don't know homiletics ( law of scripture interpretation). Please just ask God to to forgive u for this s trash you posted, cos this is not the HolySpirit speaking through you. 2tim2:19-22, 1thesss4:3-4, Gal 5:19-21. There are many scriptures that talks about purity, Holiness and much more. Please don't derail people with this. God did not save you to keep you in sin, and for you to keep on wallowing in sin. If a pig falls into the mud it wallows, but if a sheep falls into a mud it cries out for help because its not in the nature of the sheep to wallow in d mud. No matter how you sin and how you fall, or make mistake, never endorse sin, cos sin is not the nature of a believer. But when a beliver consciously sin.... Does he think grace will abound. If many will run with this as believers they will end up in HELL FIRE. So please correct yourself and go and study your bible well before you come out to the public to tell people about the bible you did not authored.

Mr Pastor, are you without sin ? You that know the anatomy of the Holy Spirit. Can you look God in the eye n say you have not sinned this few days ? My bible teacher preach pass you yet he is an ardent drunkard. He'd take any pastor to the cleaners on or about the scripture. If you be God Na God know how many you'd have condemned to hellfire yet your life is not without sin.

The bible say our righteous is like a filthy rag before God. I do not see how yours could be any different talk of being beta. As you pastor reach you go still sin this week, only his grace n not your understand make us whole. You are not at your alter so I beg no come dey grand stand here on NairaLand.

Kei144:

That is why i said Nigerians understanding of the world salvation is wrong.

Salvation simply put is getting you recreated to do more good than wrong. As you walk with Christ in Faith you begin to see the possibility of doing good always. Salvation is all about moral perfection.

If a christian goes to HELL,
then God Lied in His promises and Jesus did not die for any Sin .
But scriptures has it GOD cannot LIE and Jesus died for the Sins of the Whole world.
If Jesus paid for my Sins, then why would my Sins be charged against me..
What you should teach people as a Pastor is SPIRITUAL GROWTH and the assurance of their salvation.
Not HELL.

Preach it sir!!!!! Until the glory of the knowledge of God covers the earth as the waters covereth the sea.

years, etc. (Genesis 11:12-16)

the Sabbath (John 20: 1)
85. A large stone was placed at the entrance
of the tomb. Where was the stone when the
women arrived?
They saw that the stone was Rolled back
(Mark 16:4) They found the stone rolled away
from the tomb (Luke 24:2) They saw that the

On her second visit to the tomb Mary met
Jesus just outside the tomb. When she saw
Jesus she did not recognize him. She mistook
him for the gardener. She still thinks that
Jesus body is laid to rest somewhere and she
demands to know where. But when Jesus said
her name she at once recognized him and
called him Teacher. Jesus said to her, Do not
hold me... (John 20:11 to 17)
88. What was Jesus instruction for his

Go to my brethren and say to them, I am
ascending to my Father and your Father, to
my God and your God (John 20:17)
89. When did the disciples return to Galilee?
Immediately, because when they saw Jesus in
Galilee some doubted (Matthew 28:17). This
period of uncertainty should not persist
After at least 40 days. That evening the
disciples were still in Jerusalem (Luke 24:3 3).
Jesus appeared to them there and told them,
stay in the city until you are clothed with
power from on high (Luke 24:49). He was

No. God will not lie or repent; for he is not a
man, that he should repent (I Samuel 15:29)
Yes. And the Lord repented that he had
made Saul King over Israel (I Samuel
15:35). Notice that the above three quotes
are all from the same chapter of the same
book! In addition, the Bible shows that
God repented on several other occasions:
i. The Lord was sorry that he made man
(Genesis 6:6)
I am sorry that I have made them

which he thought to do to his people
(Exodus 32:14).

This is impossible, since there would have

Kings 8:46; see also 2 Chronicles 6:36;
Proverbs 20:9; Ecclesiastes 7:20; and I John
1:810)
No. True Christians cannot possibly sin,
because they are the children of God. Every
one who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a
child of God.. (I John 5:1). We should be
called children of God; and so we are (I John
3: 1). He who loves is born of God (I John
4:7). No one born of God commits sin; for
Gods nature abides in him, and he cannot sin
because he is born of God (I John 3:9). But,
then again, Yes! If we say we have no sin we
deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (I
John 1:cool

No. The family fled nowhere. They calmly
presented the child at the Jerusalem temple
according to the Jewish customs and returned
to Galilee (Luke 2:21-40)
101. When Jesus walked on water how did the
disciples respond?
They worshipped him, saying, Truly you are
the Son of God (Matthew 14:33)
They were utterly astounded, for they did not
understand about the loaves, but their hearts
were hardened (Mark 6:51-52)

OP, thank you so much for this piece. I pray it will indeed reach and be a source of encouragement to those who are feeling hopeless about the state of their Christian faith. As far as I can see, this message is as clear as can be: pay no mind to those referring to you as heretic or twisting your words - just keep clarifying in love as you have been doing. There are several of us that have become so puffed up in religious pride or so dumbed down through spiritual abuse, that will rail against this message, but the facts do not change. Another thing that must be mentioned is the need for dependence on Christ to bring us to perfection - this is an area several of us are not doing well in. I believe strongly in my spirit that Christ is willing to grant many of us total and complete deliverance from besetting sins, if we only would yield to Him and allow Him to be glorified in us. And this is a charge for us Christians - we must keep holding on in faith, no matter what our circumstances look like. Christ said "Nevertheless, when the Son of Man cometh, will he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8 ). God help us all.

You're are the one preaching heresy here. the Brother spoke the mind of God and you're here blabbing nonsense. at the peak of your holiness/righteousness, it's possible to miss heaven because many at that point believe they are the author and finisher of that kind of righteousness.

If you people believe that hell exists, abeg tell me what is it like in hell? Who has ever been there to know or testify to what hell looks like? Or were it is? I mean, which part of the world? Africa, india, europe or America? Or is hell another way of brainwashing and dumbing people down via religion? If the bible says we were all born in sin, why do some so called christians believe they are righteous and will go to heaven? Were is heaven located? Has any one ever been to heaven? Or is another way of so called pastors/preachers confusing people? Are these pastors even sure they will go to heaven? What is the different between a pastor and an ordinary man? Why do people believe pastors when they claim they pastors without prove? should pastoring be a proffesion? Can a pastor not have a job and be a pastor at the same time? Is pastoring suppossed to be about making money? Is pastoring not about saving souls? If pastors claim they ve being ordained by God should they be able prove that? Hence no one was there to witness it.
Just asking o!, Because i am confused on what to believe. angry

Yeah. u must be 100% righteous. The bible says that no sinner (not the worst sinner) shall enter into the kingdom of God.

Believing in Jesus who died for ur sins makes u righteous, it is not bout what u do or what u don't do but it is all about what Jesus did on the cross, a believer is 100% righteous, it all depends on the percentage of ur consciousness of this fact
