The rapid evolution of mobile connectivity and cloud-based office technology in the last decade means that we are now able to own the means of digital production that are required to work from anywhere and profit from our labor.
Increasingly, digital workers are empowered to create their own jobs opportunities by freelancing, experimenting with new ideas and finding creative ways to use their talents to create value for other people.
The New Skills For The Knowledge-Based Creative Economy
A recent study found that 65% of today’s grade-school kids will do jobs that haven’t been invented yet. The world we live in has never changed at such a rapid pace and this economic landscape of accelerating change demands self-educationand continual lifelong learning.

I believe there is no better way to develop these 21st century skills and capacities than by self-directed online learning. When you are constantly learning independently and applying what you learn by building your own creative projects, you can rapidly develop and refine these digital age skills.
