goodday brother, about some app refuses to detect root i found out the problem is pie (position indepedent executable), only app with that gain su permission. I download some patches three refuses to install and one install but problem still presist. Please can u search for pie patches for inifix hot 2.

Which OS are you on?

Rooting works flawlessly on either Infinix ROM on Android One. The problem is that you have a broken root process...which causes partial root access.

BTW which apps are you talking about?

Android One. I dont have broken root process, my super su app log says "only position indepedent excutable are supported" on apps like game hacking tools (game killer, game guardian, game cih) and titanium backup. Es file explorer, xposed app, lucky patcher, xblast, and other xposed modules gain root access perfectly. I search google and found out that lollipop and marshmallow has something called pie enable and some xda devs create patch to disable pie check. Alot of people complain about it on xda so dont tell me my root is broken.

My asphalt 8 gameplay on this crappy marshmallow got destroyed. Slow poke even on Very low settings. I clear memory and yet still lags. Lagging not good for this game. And e cone Dy suck battery like one year old baby sucking Brest.

At least Ive gone back to Infinix XUI and everything is normal
I can now enjoy smooth gameplay and longer lasting battery.

I just hope Infinix also release stable 6.1 update

Hi AvsGot007, to factory reset, you need to turn off your phohe first, then press power button and volume down button at the same time. After entering factory mode, use volume keys to choose "eMMC", then press power button. If it doesn't work, you can take your phone, along with your receipt and warranty card, to our Carlcare Service Center and ask our colleagues to check it for you. If you need the contact information of our service center, pls tell us the city and state you're living in now. Thank you!

The rom is quite stable.... Excellent ram management.... fast n fluid.... But camera got issues.... Along with the sound quality from the speakers... It sounds very tiny n loud

There something I have noticed about my hot 2....

When you put your browsing Sim on only edge (or you are in an area with no 3g) and you put the data on, calls don't come through the other Sim (it appears to be switched off when someone calls you).

Initially I thought it was a lollipop bug but after upgrading to marshmallow, it's still the same.

Someone here can check on his phone and let me know if it's the same for all or whether I have a defective phone.. Thanks

hey get another phone download android device manager am sure you had a Google account, so put your Google account and lock and change your password asif your phone was stolen, then try to make your infinix to access internet connection, once it accesses internet connection it will lock with the new password you set with the other phone , so just unlock it , the problem is to make your phone acess data . it will be easy if it already had data on. or wifi. on be4 you forgot your code. so just try

The camera app needs a lot of tweaking cos it's so dull..... D front camera is so blurry.... To the extent that I had to download camera 360 for taking pictures which works well nd very sharp compared to the default app...another bug I noticed is the speaker output.. It's sounds wack compared to when I was on lollipop.... Apart from this it's quite stable
