I have criticized ,now let me be constructive..
1.at least you guys should have finished properly,a simpler and sprayed frame would have made it more presentable.
2.This isn't invention(obviously its been done donkey years ago)but fabrication.It would have been an invention if it ran on say biomas,pneumatics,ethanol,etc
3.A simple research on automobiles would have brought you guys to speed on what can be done differently to improve the present day automobile (zero carbon emmision ,fuel efficiency,etc)challenges.
4.locally available materials for the non-essential non-metal parts ,e.g using special plastics,etc to improve weight-speed ratio etc would have made more sense.
5.collaborate with EE guys/mechatronics guys to include sensors for voice control,transformable frame (bus to car ,transformer movie style ), etc .

just be creative and unique ,
