I actually wanted to ask if anyone has dealt with @money121 before but with this evidence posted here, seems someone was happy with his work.
Now, how would you rate Korean stoned coated step tiles compared with Metrotiles?
While everybody talks about 50 years warranty , I went to an estate that was completed about 3 years ago just to assess how Korea and Metrotiles perform after a few years. I noticed the Korean stone coated with such warranty of 50 years have all changed colour within 3 years while Metrotiles were all shining, in fact glowing with pride! . These Korean tiles were definitely not China cos those folks were very sure of what they got.

The question then is, if I have 50 years warranty on Korean tiles and they fade in 3 years, what does the warranty mean? That I remove the roof and return them? Or I get a portion of my money back? Or I can retain a lawyer to fight?

While I complain the country is hard and Metrotiles is out of the affordability range of an average Nigerian, a man within the estate I went to told me something I still laugh about till today. He asked me if after I wear an expensive lace with good embroidery and matching shoes, I would then look for face cap or beret like the sports minister and say I am going for an o wa nbẹ. In his view, using an "inferior roof" is like wearing face cap on correct tradional wear.

While I got the message, that doesn't change the fact that Metrotiles is unnecessarily (I hope I am right) expensive

Sincerely sir, I may not be qualified to give technical details but I noticed that in terms of shape and colour, all companies give similar names oto their tiles design. I have attached pix of their catalogue and physical tiles I saw in one of the Warehouses selling Korean tiles in Idu. These shapes and sizes are similar to that of metrotiles and they call them same names.
However, I may not be able to comment on the thickness of the aluminium sha. While Metrotiles said their guage was 0.5 or so, my Easter brothers claim theirs was 0.7 though it felt thinner than Metrotiles to me. (I may be wrong though).
In already wrote about price comparison earlier than.

I hope the experts in the house can help with comparison of technical details.

Gradually, we are becoming prisoners in our residential buildings. How can we survive all these? Windows are sealed with solid burglar proof, doors na steel and walls na solid cast!

Based on my experience outside Nigeria I think you require a specialist landscaper to translate your ideas into reality. One young man was pitching his biz recently but I haven't seen him around for a while.

His name is chuksjuve and here's his thread

Thanks bro, I have been monitoring things from the outside besides been engaged with some projects hence my limited activities on this forum...
Thanks for the mention..
I really appreciate.

The question is, must will all build with stone coated roofing sheet, very high pitch roof and large areas?

Getting quality stone coated roofing sheet comes with a price, the price that can be avoided using a different type of roofing sheet and roof style.

Alternative roof style like low pitch hidden roof, with side parapet wall is one of the more affordable and also aesthetically pleasing, that can also be adopted. People are moving away gradually from very high

u r right bro.
Well, most time it might depend on client. Given an example of my second to d last work n present work, the person gave me a clear taste of what he want n if it's not according to his will i might end up faulty.
On my present work,i have a strong feeling within me n i was like should i add pitched roof or not tho d client never specify in this particular area, but at the end of the day i choose to leave it normal not pitched considering different tinz,i got ur point which i like, pitched roof cost more than normal ones n d worst part is having up to 4 or more pitched.

Of course not. Unless if you are in a situation where the prototype roof plan is handed over to you and doing otherwise is considered a sin and deviation from plan. Even me a for nor mind traditional Ibadan type brown roof zinc. Lol

That light looks beautiful. In my opinion, it will work after all almost every light here in Nigeria come from outside. So if it can work else where, it can work in Nigeria. Albeit, electricians are in a better position to give answer to this question; me I'm only an interior decorator/designer.

You need to know how to go about the process of buying and owning a Property in Nigeria. There are several Laws which govern and regulate the process. Hence, usually, it is time and capital intensive. On Property transactions, the legal maxim is apt: “Caveat Emptor” - Buyers Beware. It is not for a Seller to beware. A Buyer needs to exercise full caution and due diligence when buying a property.

This Guide on How to Buy Property [Land or House] in Nigeria makes a bold attempt to provide an in-depth insight on all an interested Buyer should know. Simply follow our prescribed step:
1. Identify the objectives.
2. Conduct a physical inspection of the property.
3. Hire professionals to conduct a property search.
4. Documentation and payments.
5. Take possession.
6. Processing of governors consent & registration of documents with the State Government.

3. Wall plastering and screeding.

Thank you.
