Naso.. cheesy
The only problem is that I don't have any English textbook at hand for now. And I heared about this "A-Z jamb use of English" - don't know if the textbook covers everything about English.

OAU will not accept commerce from you for admission into Faculty of Admin and Social Sci. I don't know of others but I think Ibadanfinest is right.

This piece is just my personal submission.

GREATEST UI, GREAT IFE AND UNILAG UTME ADMISSION PROCESSES
UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN
Admission into UI might be difficult especially for an average students well except if those students are going for a less competitive course. Apart from having your ‘O’ level in one sitting for medical related courses and in two sitting for other courses, candidates must also score not less than 200 in the utme examination.
Scoring 200 or above it does not carry weight in the admission process as your score just qualifies you to write UI post jamb. Whatever you score in your post UTME is your final score.
Obafemi Awolowo University. (Oba Awon University)
Admission into OAU is also same as admission into UI with the exception of the fact that OAU attach weight to your Jamb score. For you to qualify to write OAU post jamb you must obviously must have scored 200 or above.
50% is attached to your jamb score it therefore means you divide whatever your jamb score is by 8 or alternatively you divide your jamb score by 400 and multiply it by 50 eg let us say you score 240 in your jamb score, you calculate your weighted jamb score by dividing it by 8 which gives 30.
50% is also attached to your post jamb. Let’s say you score 280 over 400 in your post jamb which is rare. You will divide your post jamb score also by 8 and that gives you 35.
Your aggregate will be the addition of your weighted jamb and post jamb score which is 30+35= 65.
University of Lagos.
Unilag requires you have your ‘O’ level in one sitting, with mathem and English very compulsory for all courses. Mathematics isn’t compulsory for all courses in the Greatest UI and Great Ife.
Unilag allocate 50% of its aggregate score to UTME and the other 50% to post jamb just like the Great Ife.
Unilag post jamb isn’t a test of knowledge, it is more like a game of luck. Everyone regardless of your faculty are to answer 40 questions. 15 English question, 15 mathematics questions and 10 general paper.

Am not in ibadan and am not based around sanyo. My advise will be for him to check felele challenge axis, There are good tutorials around there.

I based at agbowo UI axis, I would have recommended apex but I don't know its nearest branch that's close to sanyo, but his center opposite UI is top notch.

He can also try the remedial programme organized by University of Ibadan. http://ui.edu.ng/news/university-of-ibadan-remedial-program
