This is no tribal sentiment but you want any kind of hard drug in a local market? Notify an abooki next door!

Is the sniffing of cow dung by them true? #JustAsking

You may think am lying but this is the pure fact, Igbos deal on drug but an average Igbo guy have not seen cocaine before.

Igbos drink alcohol a lot infact we live inside bottles so the need for drug is no longer there, we have the highest concentration of booze factory in Africa but who rarely see in Igbo street a junkie, a fiend but you can see drug couriers but no drug users.

In reality Igbo drug dealers are mainly small-time foot soldiers, ill-trained in the art of drug trafficking. The real drug barons who make millions from ORGANIZED drug couriering are Yorubas and Edo peeps. They are smarter than the Igbos who carry drugs because those Igbos are mainly semi illiterate traders who cannot differentiate between carrying drugs to China and other Asian countries (= death sentence) and doing so to UK, US and other benign countries (= just jail time).

Per consumption, you are right. Most Igbos have not seen ''Igbo'' (marijuana) in their entire life, let alone cocaine. In contrast, every farmer in Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and Edo have ''Igbo'' farms.

Not Surprised an inch.. the North does more hard drugs than any region in the country.

reminds me my teenage days in the north... Children of my age range then(9-13) will proudly sniff something enclosed in small polythene bags...

This simply shows how unserious NDLEA is when it comes to combating drugs, how would they only claim to arrest 463 people in states with thousands of abusers? NDLEA must be re-positioned towards greater effectiveness.

furking ediot always trying to tribalise everything... An NDLEA official recently disclosed in a radio programme that 3 million bottles of codeine is consumed everyday in the north-east alone, Since the religion in the north forbids them from taking alcohol they have resorted to all other forms of drugs abuse to stay high. Codeine, tramadol, volume5, shoe-maker's gum, even gutter. The hausa guy down the street does not sell alcohol in his provision shop but trust me he has tramadol... Just try and find out.

And that's how these cursed bastards pollute nairaland with loads of false information. Islam didn't mention alcohol but any substance that is intoxicating which means both hard drugs and alcohol are prohibited. We all know the greatest traffickers and consumers of hard drugs in Nigeria

^^^Well, if that's one way to eliminate the few dumb Igbos...to cleanse the gene-pool as it were, then i'm all for it! I have zero sympathy for any dumb fuc/k that gets caught in Indonesia (of all places) with hard drugs....brother or not!

Gbam! You are very right. Even some hausas that hawk cigarettes and stuff in the north do sell some of those outlawed tablets and it's consumed by their hausa youths mostly. In the middle belt, they do more of dry gin commonly called goskolo while the muslim guys who detest alcohol can drink or smoke any shiit to get high. Some go as far as inhaling petrol and chemicals used as adhesives. I don see this severally

Go and fight NBS and NDLEA that brought the report. You are on a lost case and you know it.
