I don't know what's wrong with my laptop, if anyone can help with it, I'd be glad.

Ok, it won't connect me to the net.
A few days ago, it stopped working.
I called the internet network service, we spent hours on trying to work it out. It still won't work.
The router was reset, it was unplugged, everything, still won't work.

I tried the home modem to see if it'll work, still won't.
So, I called my laptop company, we spend hours on it, still won't work.
We reboot and restored, till we had to clear everything to as new as I bought it (I lost so many files )

Laptop still won't connect me to the internet.

And I will not buy a new one because this one is not even 5 months old yet

Any computer geek (actually a good thing ) or engineer in the house?

I almost bit the guy's head off.
I told him that I bought a warranty, he said "oh well yea, we only repair laptops. We don't give new ones".
I told him this willbe the last time I'd be buying from them (not that he cared)

My friend has one Acer. . . What i knew for sure is it's either he get rid of the laptop or it get rid of him. Acer sucks!

you probably inadveertently disabled a service when you ran an optimizer app.

look through the services set to 'disabled' and 'manual'

their information should serve as a guide.

my modem refused to connect when i first bought it, the wonderful people at starcomms were yelling format! but i simply turned on one service after another until i found the erring one, and my connection came up.


you can also reinstall the driver for your modem

you can try creating a new internet connection, by going to network and sharing center

i am currently running windows 7, and mobilink lite does not run on it. i thought my internet was screwed, but i found that i can manually set up a connection. hope one of these helps.

My network server canonly program a new internet connection. AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THEIR SERVICE.

@ poster to God there is noting wrong with your laptop, you just change your internet net work provided and see.
you said you did E recovery with your Acer and is still the same,  act fast your internet toos I:m modem are bad or your internet net work provided is out of date   

once E recovery is done with a laptop that show is back to new as the first day

my very first laptop was an acer, second and third. acer makes good machines. don't generalise, his own case is peculiar. no machine works endlessly without some occasional problems.

looks like some people dont read through their thread before replying it. The guy said he has done factory restore and you are asking him to format,
@poster, verify the internet connection on another available pc to be sure that the connection is even working. that your laptop does not load a page is not a function of the laptop hadware. since the system has connected you and has obtained an ip address, then it's between you and your isp for now, till you can explore other clues and you may like to check out the like from this poster

LOL, my router works with my laptop and desktop.

I don't think anything is wrong with the laptop, now that I've read some of the replies here.

My desktop is working fine, but laptop won't.
