I don't understand all these complaints about Buhari appointing "only" northerners. The north has always been in charge for many years compared to the south, but the northern region is the most poverty stricken area of Nigeria. In other words these folks appointed into government have always been there to represent themselves and siphon the wealth of Nigeria into their bank accounts. Even if more Igbos or yorubas are appointed what benefit will it have on the common Igbo or yoruba man in the streets? Many Igbos and yorubas have been given appointments since 1960 but has it made Abeokuta to become New York or made Onitsha to become Berlin? We are crying for politicans when they are not appointed. Do any of them cry for us when we are jobbless? The most important thing here is for whoever is appointed to served the entire Nigeria evenly and justly. I think we shouldn't bother ourselves over appointments. Let Buhari appoint 100% northerners if he likes. We should only start complaining when skyscrapers and bullet trains start popping out everywhere in the north and there are none poping out in the south. Or when you enter the prisons and hear the jailed corrupt individuals only speaking southern languages and none speaking hausa.

truth is, Buhari has to carry every region along but my problem with those complaining is this: are u guys complaining coz u really care about the development of your region or the "growth" of your pocket? I am asking this question coz I see no way appointments favour the common man "directly". so who are u fighting for? To PMB, do the needful please. Don't give your detractors reasons to dent you. as for me, I am neutral coz even if u appoint my village man as the SGF I won't benefit from him except he is my Dad or a relative. so long as these appointments won't stop my region from getting the attention other regions get in terms of development, I am indifferent. #adonbilivit
