I was somewhere within the week ( In a Church programme to be precise) and I was wondering why we really go to Church.

Does it matter?
Can't we still worship in our homes and make it be our worship center instead of gathering at a place?

Did our early men and women really have such gathering ?

Lets get your view on this.

But most people started going when they were small, and the trend continues.

And yes the early men and women had such gathering.

It depends on what your holy book talks about.
My own states it emphatically that when you converge to worship, it it more rewarding.

dead tradition inherited from pagan Rome.

we should meet in homes, houses and other suitable areas, but there is no law/commandment that says/suggests we must go to a place on sunday where only 1 man leads and coordinates most of the important events while others warm the bench and part with their money ( theft tithes ) afterwards.
