Between Individuals & Projects...The SE Case. by azimibraun: 5:16am On Sep 01, 2015
As much as the igbos of the SE deserve at least 15% or more of president buhari's appointments, I still have a strong conviction that region should busy itself more with having very serious federal government projects. Again I repeat, they deserve appointments but they need the projects more. They need to fix those massive gullies, they need economic policies to aid there business and entrepreneurial endeavors more. They two is not a bad idea but they need the projects more. Oshimole am sure has no qualms with appointments because he has his $75m loan for projects approved for him by the senate with the support of the presidency. Just imagine all the SE states each getting access to $150m funding for developmental projects and having clear assurance of the completion of the second Niger bridge; wouldn't that be nicer than having Mr Ogbonaya Onu as SFG? I am just trying to see what should come first in a people's priority. Criticisms are welcomed. Just my thoughts.

Are you saying that there are no longer Federal Government-sponsored projects in the North after Buhari's lopsided appointments?

Federal Government Projects which include cancellation of Alvan Ikoku University, Owerri university status back to college of Education.

Suspending the second Nigeria bridge for flimsy excuses where the FG is only expected to provide N30 billion out of N117 billion while private partners pay for the balance of N87 billion.

Transferring Bokoharam terrorists to a minimum prison, Ekwulobia Anambra State and Enugu State when there are maximum prisons suited for the capacity of such prisoners.

Better start shouting and protesting to save Southeast from impending extraordinary marginalization President Buhari plans for the region.
