External. It Just Shows Local Disk F Instead Of The Actual Name I Gave To The Hard Drive. It Doesn't Give The Pop Up That "do I Want To View The Files In It".

For the first 2 errors you mentioned, the cause is autorun.inf present in the hard drive. But if it's blinking and not accessible then there's another problem. Did it fall or Was it in use and you just removed it from the laptop without ejecting it properly?


I will advise you to get "Recuva" and recover your files then download "HDD Regeneration" and try repairing it.

I can't guarantee it will be normal because they might have caused physical damage to it but yes you can get all your files back. Use RECUVA software. I prefer it

Windows10 got off microsoft's shelf too soon - in a bid to meat the expectations of windows addict who get poke alot by linux aliens. Lol. Hence u need to consider windows10 as being in its beta stage yet - of course Mr Gates wld disagree. What u cn do is try updating at every latest release.

It wasn't so when I updated from 7 to 8 and 8.1, my display was crappy and dull unlike that of 7 that was sharp. But after updating to 10, my display was now sharper than that of Windows 7. I didn't use clean install method, I did my update with an ISO file.
From what you've said earlier I think it was the display driver that wasn't installed on my previous Windows 8.1

Tried automatic repair but it failed to boot the system to start-up screen (Desktop).
So I decided to use advanced options.
In the advanced options;
I tried-
System restore- It failed to restore the system.
Start-up repair-this failed to tackle the problem.
Go back to previous build- Attempting to go back to previous build failed.
Start up Settings-I tried using start up settings so that I can solve the BSOD via Safe mode and deactivate some start up options but failed.
Command prompt-Using the boot and fix command prompt codes including some stretchy ones I got from YouTube didn't work too.
System recovery image-I didn't have 10 disk and Flash wasn't available to try and create a bootable OS.
Now, my sister had to do some presentation and needed my system cos hers was stolen so I thought of getting the system back to shape as soon as possible.
So I tried the reset that will keep my files but it didn't work so I tried resetting everything at the expense of losing my files.
After wasting 3-4 hours of my time resetting, the process failed and the problem of my system deteriorated.
Now it's now blank after the SMART hard disk error menu.
I'm regretting
moving to Windows 10 cos after much research, I see so many complains about BSOD on win 10.
I need your assistance.

You messed up the OS/hard drive already. Get a new Windows CD and perform a clean install after formating the drive.

P.S: You might consider changing the drive as it's failure might be close
