Being a juju priest (babalawo) has never been this sophisticated!
When someone tells you about a Babalawo, the picture that comes to mind is of a man dress in white cloth covered with cowrie shells and coral beads. One of his eyes is also circled with native chalk and his teeth are brown and rotten from chewing too much kolanut and tobacco.

But this Yoruba babalawo is different. We’ve flamboyant and fashionably dressed pastors and preachers. Now check out this Babalawo of the Yoruba religion.

His name is Babalorisa Paulo Tyomolu. He practices the ‘Yoruba’ Religion and is based in Brazil.
And he is the Flyest you will ever see.

Babaaláwo or Babalawo literally means ‘father of the mysteries’ in the Yoruba language. It is a spiritual title that denotes a Priest of Ifá.
